works well

Ive been using this software (occasionally) for about 5-10 years. I last bought it in 2011 (it doesnt break easily). Its simple and it works. I have not pushed the limits, so I cant tell you about that. But it has two settings that are especially *important* : 1) How many simultaneous download threads to run and 2) time delays between downloads. Some sites will shut you off if they detect >1 downloads simultaneously from your location (IP, i assume). So I have it set at 1. Second, some sites will shut you down if they see rapid fire downloads, since a human cant be doing that obviously. So put in a long-ish delay and let er rip. Its also a bit more polite to the site your are downloading from to reduce the peak bandwidth youre requesting.
